Technoloogy

Yesterday we had technology and for technology we were looking at the different kind of phone stands. The phone stand I really enjoy and wanna make is the iron man one because it is really cool and looks very sturdy for a phone. A challenge for me was when I was looking on google for some photos I was really trying to choose one but they were all amazing. What I found really easy was planning out what I was gonna make,obviously I decided to try and recreate the Iron man. Next time I will be more wise with my time.

NFL to fine players who kneel during national anthem

The NFL has announced that they will discipline and fine those players that don’t stand for the United States anthem before each game.However, they also announced that players who do not want to stand for the United States anthem could stay in the locker room until it has been performed.The statement comes a day after NFL teams pledged $90m towards social justice work in communities.The debate over the kneeling protests began in 2016, when San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the anthem.

NSW win State of Origin Opener

New South Wales has beaten Queensland 22-12 in the State of Origin game one in Melbourne. At the game there were 87,122 people at the game. The blues had a 8-6 lead in the first half, before they scored another 3 tries. Rookies Latrell Mitchell, Tom Trbojevic and Josh Addo-Carr all scored tries as well as James Tedesco who was named Man of the Match. Valentine Holmes and Dane Gagai were the only ones who scored from the queensland team, and Valentine Holmes got the 2 kicks in.

The reason why Qld lost was because Billy Slater wasn't there and Cooper Cronk wasn't playing and lastly Jonathon had retired. But that is my opinion. NSW is in the lead for origin but game 2 is still to come, and if queensland wins the second game it will be a tie and the last game will have to confirm the winner. Next game is taking place in Sydney on the 24th of June on Sunday.

Technology

Yesterday at technology we finally changed groups. Me and my group went to Miss Ferguson's class a.k.a Graphics. When we got there we had to open up our netbooks and create a google drawing and do photos that represent me. The reason why I chose red was because it was my favourite colour and also I chose it because when Miss Ferguson said to be unique with your work and the colour red on everything is pretty unique.

I chose iron man because of course he is my favourite superhero. I decide to make a animation me, but I felt different and I decided to create a person that looks brainy which would represent me. I chose Pumba because he is always like me and I chose a rugby player because I like playing rugby. I did a picture of a cake because cakes is one of my favourite food and I did a fortnite player because I enjoy playing fortnite.

Camp Task Reflection

Today for the first block we were working on our Camp booklets. We had to complete some camp task's and try finish as much as we can. I have managed to complete the Shield Task, the A-Z Vocabulary task,The High rope task and lastly the Diamond Poem Task. I didn't have enough time to complete the colouring task because we had to all meet up and present what we have done. The task I really found easy was task three, which was the A-Z vocabulary. It was easy because we had to think about words starting from A-Z about camp.

What I found really challenging was the letter "X" because there was nothing that we did that had the letter "X". Can you think of a word that has the letter "X" that include the word Camp?. So I decided to write down any word that starts with "X" and then try make up something that goes with it. What I also found challenging was trying to think of more than one word in each letter.

Today I was learning about day and night. I found it very challenging because as I was researching, there were some words that never made sense to me. Then I had 2 options, go to the teacher or keep researching. And yes I chose the easy one which was to keep researching. When I started to research more I finally go some ideas and I was so happy so I created and new google drawing and placed all the facts I learnt on it.
