Week End Reflection

On Saturday me and my family went to a Tongan funeral.The funeral was at Mangere.The funeral we went to was Queen Salote tupou lll.It was a sad  funeral from my experience I did not know what they were saying But I can feel them from their action.Even though I couldn't understand I was still in bad emotion.As they were saying their experience with the queen It reminded me about when My uncle died.I learned that even if you don't understand their action is what makes it easier to explain.

Kiwisport-Reflection

On Monday 27th of February 2017 we had kiwisport.When I heard it was our turn for kiwisport I knew something fun was gonna happen.I was full of joy that the only word that comes out of my mouth is badminton.I may not be good at badminton but it is worth a try.As we got down to the hall I already wanted to pick up the racket and shuttle and start playing with it.Our instructor's name was Ben.We learned lots of skills today like backhand forehand and also if your right hand then take two steps with your leg to hit the shuttle.I learned that you have to take two steps to the shuttle or order to balance.When we had to go into buddys I was happy because me and my friend just wanted to play already.We got told by Ben to practice our backhand and taking steps to reach the shuttle.My experience for badminton today was amazing I never felt more happier to have it.Next week for badminton I want to challenge someone to a ralley competition.

Technology-Lesson 3 Product research

Hi everyone for technology we were learning how to describe different types of Jewellery.The part I liked the most for today is drawing what our client likes.The part I hate today was blogging.But instead of that I had lots of fun and my teacher Miss Ferguson was helping and encouraging us.I felt happy during the lesson because I knew something fun is gonna happen.We were learning new words like solo taxonomy.I know it has unistructural,Multistructural,Relational and Extened Abstract.

Summary about myself:I am 10 years old and my favourite stuff to do when i'm not at school is to cook with my dad or help My dad build stuff.My bond with my dad is like so close.When ever I come home from school I will always look outside the window and wait until he comes back with we can play.Also when i’m not at school I like to take walks around the block and then Ill start walking to the pools.I like to play rugby mostly for clubs because my cousins he inspired me and my brother to join a sport.My weakness sport is Fencing because i'm not use to those knifes.

Weekend Reflection

WALT:Reflect on our weekend
On the Weekends we went to Rainbows end.When we got there we saw half of our family on the fearful.We got split into groups and wherever our leader had to go we follow them.The first ride my leader chose was the stratosfear extreme. As I walked on our first ride I was already screaming before It even started to move.My whole group was calling me a girl also my little brother and these other people called me a scaredy cat.When the ride started we were in the air moving so fast that instead of holding the poles I was holding this stranger's hand so tight.After the ride the stranger's hand I was holding was telling all her friends what happened.

When we were going on to our next ride I ditch my group and said that I was going toile, but what I really did was go hide in the kids kingdom place.When they went on the Invader I went on the scorpion carts.After the ride I was on I went to go find my group, but I couldnt find them.So I just keep asking random strangers have you seen a big group wearing red.I was looking for them about 10 minutes so I got bored and went on a ride.I had an idea to find them.But the idea was so scary I was slapping my head to forget about it.

I did what I had planned, so I went on the fearful and try find them when I got up.When we got up I wasn't looking for them because I was to busy praying that I won die.It took me a few tries to get use to it, then finally on my 6th time going up I found them.So I went to my group and they all ran to me and started hugging me.I told them what happened they said that they thought I was dead.

Jewellery design-Design Brief

WALT:Reflect on technology
Today for technology we were learning about Jewellery design.First we got shared a presentation from Miss Ferguson.

 

First we had to choose 5 people that we can choose to make a jewellery for them.Then we had to choose one person.I chose my mum because she does lots for stuff for me.I also chose my mum because that was the first thing that came to my mind.After that we had to name down what our client likes.The next  thing we did was get photos from google about what our client likes.Then the final part was to get photos about jewellery.The challenge for today was actually writing down what your client likes.The part I like the most was listening to music and getting images from google.The part I hate the most was when I was doing my work but people kept talking to me.At the end of the lesson I felt happy and joyful because it was fun and very funny.Next week for technology I want to sketch out our jewellery.

Duffy Assembley

WALT:Reflect on the Duffy assembly
On Tuesday the 14th, 2017 we had a duffy assembly.When we got there I noticed that I had seen the two people in the front before.I was really excited that I wanted to go toilet so fast.When I sat down on the chairs I really never saw the two duffy people.I kept moving my head but that didn't work so I just told the person in front of me to move.The character I liked the most was Tevita because he was funny.

Tevita was funny and also Global girl.I like this act because it actually tells us how we can save global warming and we also learned about the temperature in each country.The part I never liked was when the Juniors kept talking and screaming.

Kiwisport Reflection

WALT:Reflect on our kiwisport
It was fun and I had lots of fun.I was not that happy with the sport we were gonna do, but when we had our first day of kiwisport it was fun and funny. I was angry at myself for saying the sport was gonna be boring but I knew that people make mistakes.

Why did I apply for Student Leader?

I have applied to be student council because I know that I can be a good role model.I applied to be a student council because I know I can make a difference in the school for the better.I would want to try my best to take more responsibility for the school.I also like to offer a helping hand.What inspired me to become a student leader?My brother inspired me to become a student leader, because when he was one he changed for the better as a human being. Lastly I want to be a student leader because I want to make a difference at Tamaki Primary School.

At our lesson for music we were learning about how the people in the olden days share there music.Our teacher was kaleb.He was so fun that being with him everyday will be a dream come true.We were learning about cords and connecting it to the computer.We also learned how to share music from one place all the way to the place.We were learning about the olden days and what they use to play music.Next week I would like to learn how to fade in songs.

On Monday our church had games.Our games were at dunkirk also known as marist.When our church arrived at marist we were preparing the gazebos and the tents and also the BBQ.At 8:00am we had cricket and we got split into 2 teams.I was in team 1.When it was my turn to go up and bat I felt the nervs.My hands were trembling to let go of the bat.As i stand the ball game straight to my bat and I swung it but all I hit was the back stoppers face. I felt so embarrassed that my face got red.But when my team cheered for me then I felt better. The next time the ball came to me I hit it so far that it went to the beach.

The next sport we played was Rippa rugby.I got chosen to be in the red team with the People I did not want be with. But then I knew nothings wrong with them it's just me being selfish.We all worked as a team and lost but I didn't care cause everyone was humble and no one was showing off.After rippa rugby we had tiger war.My team was full of little kids and the other team was full of adults.The adult team won the 1st round because more adults joined there team.The the strongest person in our church Joined our team and then we won under 5 seconds.Then the 3rd round none won the everyone left.

Tech Graphics-Lesson 1

On the first day of technology I was really excited to meet my teacher and to meet my group.At technology I had to draw 3d and 2d drawing.I was in group 1.I was really nervous when I stepped in our class.My teacher rush down to the office to get the password for the wifi.My teachers name was Miss Ferguson and she was very fun.She had a lot to do while teaching us.It was fun because I started to learn how to draw 3d shapes.After that we had to draw something called elipse which is a circle but you view it at a diffrent angle, then it will look like something else.I know another word which is oblique.Oblique is word that defines when you put 2 shapes together and then make a 3d shapes.The challenge for today was learning the new words and drawing 3d shapes.The best part about technology was when my friends were laughing and also when I knew how to draw a 3d box.Next term I want to learn how to cook and how to make stuff that I thought it doesnt exist.
